Guiding you towards peace, balance and emotional wellness.
I believe we all have it within us to live a happy, balanced successful life. But at points we might need some help and support. I am totally non-judgemental, empathic and honest. Together, we can identify what is holding you back. I'll be there to offer support for as long as you need it.
I have a Diploma in Counselling (CPCAB) and am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am an integrated therapist which means I draw on different counselling approaches to suit each individual client. My core approach is Person-centred.
Making the decision to see a counsellor is a big step to take - but it can be a positive one. Please read on to find out more about how I could help you.
Sometimes experiences, relationships and careers damage us; we may develop ways of dealing with difficulties that become habitual and, in the end, hold us back. Counselling can help us understand this and empower us to achieve our full potential.
In our sessions, you will be accepted and valued without judgment or criticism. I’ll provide a safe supportive space to help you explore, what may be, difficult feelings. Together we can discover a way forward with greater self-knowledge, self-acceptance and self-esteem. I’m a person-centred integrative counsellor so I’ll choose the method of therapy that best suits you.
The work is collaborative. I offer my knowledge, skills and expertise which can give insight into the nature of your concerns. I’ll be honest and engage with integrity, responding to whatever you bring to sessions. We’ll work at your pace, reviewing the work regularly to ensure you are on track to achieve your goals. I’m a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and I’m bound by the BACP’s ethical framework.

Counselling can help bring back balance into our lives, help us see ourselves and our potential more clearly, take away feelings of shame. It can help promote self-awareness and self-acceptance that lead to improved self-esteem.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how counselling works, or to arrange an initial assessment appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, whether it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
